TPL 3 Phase Leakage Current Meter
A safe, easy and accurate way to measure leakage current on 3 Phase appliances. (as demonstrated in our 3 phase testing course)
Most three phase equipment incorporates functionality such as soft start, temperature controls, PLCs to control relays and more. All of these types of controls, contactors and relays must be powered on to latch. Performing the basic 500V DC insulation resistance test on such devices will only test up to the on/off switch and not show any faults inside the actual appliance. A leakage current test must be performed to comply with AS/NZS 3760 requirements.
This 3 Phase tester measures the leakage current on 20A or 32A appliances.
The TPL provides a safe and quick way of testing three phase appliances with result shown on the LCD display screen.
Suitable for testing 5 pin 20A & 32A appliances. (appliances with a 4 pin plug may require a 4-5 pin adaptor lead)
Can also be used in conjunction with a single phase PAT to also measure Earth Continuity.
