Some Quick Q&As About The Big Bundle

This course is self-paced and does not have a start date.
Once your registration is completed you will receive an email with a link to set your unique password.  You then log in and can get started immediately or when you are ready. You have 60 days to complete your course.  All units of this course are online.

You go at your own pace in your own time. As a general guide, most students take about 8 hours to complete all units.

You have 60 days to complete the course.

You do not have to complete any of the courses in the Big Bundle in one session.

You can log in any time of the day and pick up at exactly where you last left off to continue your learning. It is also possible to go back over any lessons you have already completed.

To access the course you will need a reliable internet connection and a computer / laptop / tablet.
To complete the final assessment of the test and tag Level 2 course you will need to demonstrate how you test some common appliances using an automated PAT (portable appliance tester). It is not necessary to have a PAT while doing the online components however if you have one it means you can practice the procedures you see demonstrated as you work through each of the lessons.
You don’t need any additional equipment to complete the other units.

You do not need any electrical qualification or training to do this course. We will teach you what you need to know.

The course does include some electrical theory but it is of a basic level. If you get stuck anywhere, your tutor is available to help you.

At this time he was a member of his local VicSES (State Emergency Service) unit and was responsible for their equipment maintenance. As you can imagine, the reliability of emergency safety equipment is vital and John learned a lot about appliance testing and electrcial testing in general as part of this role.

During 2007 John founded ACME Test and Tagging to provide test and tag training services to workplaces across the Greater Melbourne area. Starting from scratch with no leads, no clients and no revenue, he quickly built a thriving business. The reason for this was his dedication to the core values of being fair, friendly and reliable.
